S.M.A.R.TS IS A CONCEPTUAL PIECE MADE BY A FEW FRIENDS AND I. WE HAD THE IDEA FOR A COUCH CO-OP, PROCEDURALLY GENERATED, PARTY GAME WHERE YOU AND YOUR TEAM WORK TO RID HOMES OF OUT OF CONTROL ROBOTS, AND REPAIR THE AI CONTROLLING IT. WE SPENT THE BETTER PART OF A YEAR DEVELOPING ON THE IDEA, AND WERE ABLE TO SHOW IT OFF AT INDIANA POPCON.

S.M.A.R.Ts was the first large scale collaborative project I had ever worked on.
I took the roles as the project lead and lead programmer.
The concept of S.M.A.R.Ts came while taking a game design class in college where I wanted to make a party game that had a Jetsons style to it. Work began in that same class, but afterwards a handful of us continued working on it for the remained of the year.
The key feature is a system that procedurally fills each room in the house, changing how you have to approach it each time.
While the team eventually had to split ways before completion Iām still proud of what we accomplished.
